PRIME FORCE ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF 2024 CHRISTMAS CHARITY CAMPAIGN

Prime Force's Commitment to Supporting Women in STEM Through Collective Action

After the success of last year’s Christmas charity campaign, the results of Prime Force Group's 2024 initiative are now available. This year’s campaign encouraged employees, clients, and partners to actively participate in a LinkedIn poll to decide how the company’s €3,000 donation would be distributed among three impactful non-profit organizations. These organizations are dedicated to empowering women and girls to pursue careers and education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in the DACH region. 

The results are in, and the donations have been allocated as follows:

  • Women in Tech e.V.: €930
  • GirlsCodeToo: €930
  • MINT Bringt’s: €1,140

Each of these organizations plays a vital role in fostering diversity and inclusion within STEM fields by providing resources, mentorship, and opportunities for women and girls. The contributions from Prime Force aim to bolster their ongoing efforts and enable them to expand their reach and impact.

Meet the NGOs

Below is a brief overview of each initiative and their impactful work:

  • Women in Tech e.V.: A non-profit association operating across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, Women in Tech e.V. aims to attract, promote, and make women in technical professions more visible. They organize digital and local events, showcase role models, and build a strong network of companies, educational institutions, and other organizations to motivate girls and women to pursue technical careers.
  • GirlsCodeToo: Based in Switzerland, GirlsCodeToo is a non-profit organization focused on closing the gender gap in the tech industry and engineering universities. They support and encourage girls aged 8-18 to discover coding and explore careers in tech through introductory coding workshops, in-depth sessions in specific programming languages, summer camps, and inspiring talks by industry professionals.
  • MINT Bringt’s: An initiative by Hilfswerk Austria, MINT Bringt’s is dedicated to promoting STEM (MINT in German) education among children and youth. They offer programs and activities designed to spark interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, aiming to equip young individuals with essential skills for the future.

Empowering Women, Strengthening the Future

“Your participation in this campaign and your votes made this initiative a success. This campaign reflects Prime Force Group's strong belief in shared social responsibility and it is a recognition of the challenges women and girls face, particularly in tech”, states Marc Haarmeier, CEO of Prime Force Group. 

Women remain underrepresented in STEM fields, with less than one-third of STEM graduates being women in 2022 (OECD, 2024). As an IT consultancy, Prime Force values diversity in tech and seeks to inspire meaningful change.

A Collective Effort for a Greater Impact

The poll, which ran on the company’s LinkedIn until December 18, 2024, received an enthusiastic response from the Prime Force community. By giving participants the power to decide how the donation should be distributed, the campaign underscored the company’s commitment to collaboration and collective action in addressing social challenges.
