Prime Force Browser Extension for Nuxeo: Simplifying Document Editing and Signing

How It Works

When a document is modified—such as signing a PDF—the changes need to be saved and uploaded back to the web application. Traditionally, users would have to:

1. Download the document
2. Edit or sign it locally
3. Find the document and manually upload it back to the application
    

With the Prime Force browser extension, this process becomes fully automatic:

1. Use the Open Locally feature to download and open the document in your default PDF or Office application.
2. Make modifications or add a signature.
3. Once saved, the updated document is automatically uploaded back to Nuxeo. Depending on requirements, a new version can be automatically created, and all changes — including digital signatures — are logged in the document’s version history. The system will now present an additional tab with an overview of the signatures found in the PDF.
   
    

All existing signatures are displayed in the Digital Signatures tab, giving users clear visibility into the document’s signing history.
